The Role and About You: We are currently recruiting for Day Shift Yard Protection Operatives to join a busy rail depot in Selhurst. This is a safety-critical role where you will play an important part in protecting colleagues working on trains and within the depot, while supporting the smooth running of daily depot operations. Working 07:45am to 14:45pm on a Sunday Saturday roster, you will be responsible for operating Controlled Track Switches (CTS) to safely de-energise and re-energise the 750V DC conductor rail equipment within depot sidings. This ensures work can be carried out safely and protects personnel from the risk of electrocution. Alongside your Yard Protection responsibilities, you will support and lead teams responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and high-quality train environment.
