Contract Position | Halewood | PAYE £34.36 per hour (including holiday pay) | 40–50 Hours Per Week | Contract Through to Mid-2027

If you've supported automotive vehicle launches and enjoy working at the heart of fast-paced manufacturing environments, this contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile automation project.

The Opportunity

Based in Halewood, you'll be the link between the customer, engineering teams and installation personnel, ensuring production issues are identified, communicated and resolved quickly throughout the vehicle launch. Working on automated production lines, you'll help maintain momentum by coordinating technical support, resolving build issues and ensuring production readiness from launch through to successful delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting vehicle launch activities on automated production lines.
  • Monitoring build progress and identifying production, process or equipment issues.
  • Logging and tracking issues by production station, ensuring clear reporting and follow-up.
  • Working directly with the customer while coordinating engineering, maintenance and installation teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Assessing faults and identifying the parts, equipment or resources needed to implement effective solutions.
  • Installing or coordinating the installation of minor equipment, tooling and improvement kits where required.
  • Escalating technical issues to the appropriate specialists while maintaining clear communication across the project.
  • Supporting commissioning, process improvements and production readiness throughout the launch.

About You

Most importantly, you'll have experience supporting automotive vehicle launches and be confident working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You’ll also bring:

  • Previous experience supporting automotive vehicle launch programmes.
  • A strong understanding of automated production lines and manufacturing processes.
  • The ability to identify root causes and coordinate practical solutions under pressure.
  • Experience working directly with OEM customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced launch environment.
  • The confidence to assist with equipment modifications and installations where required.
  • The ability to read engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processes (advantageous).
