About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Water Hygiene Operative to join their expanding Water Management team, supporting a range of commercial and rail industry sites across Reading, Stafford, Westbury and Taunton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing department delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and water hygiene services. Whether you already have experience within the water hygiene sector or are looking to build a long-term career in the industry, we are keen to hear from individuals who have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high standards.

Key Details

  • Hours: Monday to Friday (07:30 to 16:30)
  • Location: Westbury, Taunton, Stafford and Reading with travel between sites
  • Contract: Temp to Perm opportunity
  • Van and fuel card provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems
  • Water sampling in accordance with current guidance
  • Routine flushing of little-used outlets
  • TMV inspection, servicing and testing
  • Shower head and hose cleaning and disinfection
  • Cold water storage tank inspections
  • Completing site records and reports accurately
  • Reporting defects and non-conformances
  • Maintaining excellent communication with clients and colleagues

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Be organised with strong attention to detail
  • Be able to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Be competent using mobile devices and electronic reporting systems
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Be able to provide relevant work references upon request
