The Opportunity
Our client has been appointed to deliver the construction of settlement and water management systems on Sizewell C as part of the site's wider sustainability mission. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background to take responsibility for the successful delivery of these works. If you have a background in highways, water, environment or rail, I would like to speak to you.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will lead a team of four Supervisors, who in turn manage the labour and plant on site. You will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of the works and site team.
- Managing and driving the project programme.
- Providing technical input and resolving technical issues.
- Liaising directly with the client and key project stakeholders.
- Managing and coordinating the four Supervisors.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinating labour, plant and resources to meet programme requirements.
- Monitoring progress and identifying any potential delays or issues.
- Working closely with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong civil engineering background.
- Previous experience managing civil engineering projects.
