Are you an experienced 3D CAD Technician looking for your next contract opportunity? We’re working with a Tier 1 contractor on a major rail infrastructure programme, and they’re looking to bring in top CAD talent to support the design of trackside civil assets.
The Role:
As a key member of the design team, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate 3D CAD models and drawings for a range of trackside civil engineering works, including cable routes, troughing, REBs, and LOC bases. You’ll liaise closely with engineers and other designers to ensure high-quality, compliant designs.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience as a 3D CAD Technician in a rail or civil engineering environment
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar 3D CAD platforms
- Experience working on trackside civils – cable troughing, foundations, REBs, LOCs, etc.
- Ability to interpret and produce engineering drawings to industry standards
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
