Train Cleaner

The Train Cleaner role will cover all aspects of interior cleaning on the trains. You will be carrying out full cleans on the interior of the trains, which means you will be cleaning everything from the everything in view of the public eye on the train. The duties you will be carrying out will be:

• Wiping down surfaces

• Sanitizing touch points

• Hoovering

• Mopping

• Dusting

• Cleaning & restocking the toilets

Hours wise, it is an 20:00 – 06:00 night shift role, which operates on a 4on 4off/5on 4 off rota.

• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test

• Be able to pass a full railway medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, brain, etc, * Must have a decent fitness, as you will be climbing up and down trains a lot

The pay rate for the Train Cleaner position will be at £13.05 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.
