The Role
We are currently looking for an individual to join the night shift cleaning team who are tasked with ensuring that every passenger journey is clean and comfortable. As a Night Shift Train cleaner, you will be playing a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards for this key train operator to local communities. This will involve full interior cleaning with tasks including mopping, hoovering and touch point cleaning as part of the interior cleaning team at York Station.
The roster plan covers the times of 20:00pm – 06:00pm working on a five-on-four off and four-on-five-off basis with the flexibility to work on weekends. Overtime is often available at managements discretion.

About You
If this role as a Night Shift Train Cleaner has caught your interest, here is what you need to be considered:
Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment.
You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment clean for customers.
Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
