Are you an experienced and skilled CNC precision machinist used to producing high quality parts from various materials?
Are you thinking about looking at a new opportunity within a recently purchased company who are moving to larger, new and improved facilities?
I am working with a well established Leicester company who have been recently acquired by a much large organisation. Due to investment and exciting future plans they are now expanding their operations in Leicester, by adding new engineers and moving into a new larger premises
The Role
- Working on CNC Turning Machines producing parts to tight tolerances
- Programming from Drawings Online using Fanuc Controllers
- Loading pre-existing programs and ensuring set ups are accurate and offsets
- Ensure all tooling is correct and fit for purpose
- Checking first offs ensuring batches are manufactured correctly
- Ensuring all job cards and paperwork are completed per operation
About You
- Preferably be apprentice trained C&G/NVQ
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and program
- Have expert knowledge of Fanuc controller and G codes
- Be able to set and operate machine tools (Haas)
- Have experience of live tooling (Ideally)
- Ideally have additional experience of CNC Milling (not essential)
- Be able to use a micrometer, callipers and other measurement tools
