Location: Hybrid – Leeds office (You will be required to attend the office a couple of days a week).
Contract: 3 months (potential extension).
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a new contract role? Do you have experience in Marine/Tidal Estuary (ECI) then I would like to speak to you. This is a standalone, Project Manager role — highly autonomous and focused on steering the ship from a paperwork, consultancy and ECI governance perspective, rather than site-based delivery. There is also the opportunity to support other schemes and projects.
The Role
- As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for delivering a specific framework and associated projects, including:
- Procurement strategy
- Early subcontractor involvement
- Supplier & subcontractor market engagement summaries
- Framework and preferred supplier selection
- Overall ECI governance and documentation
- Producing budgets, options and programmes
- Working on sensitive schemes
About You
- Previous marine/marine environment experience (doesn't need to be recent, but must have experience).
- Strong civil engineering background, ideally across:
- Highways
- Energy
- Water
- Heavy civils/infrastructure
