The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the commercial delivery of a portfolio of highways projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure schemes are delivered successfully from procurement through to final account.
Working under NEC contracts, you'll play a key role in cost management, subcontractor administration, forecasting and financial reporting, while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial aspects of highways and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare applications for payment, valuations and final accounts.
- Forecast project costs and produce commercial reports.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Assess and agree subcontractor accounts.
- Administer NEC contracts and contractual correspondence.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to maximise project performance.

You’ll ideally have
- Experience within highways, civil engineering, groundworks or surfacing.
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC4 desirable).

- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
