The Opportunity:
You will be joining a well-established organisation that is expanding due to project wins within the Water and Energy sectors. You will work closely with the Estimating and Bid teams and focus solely on Planning input into the Pre-Construction bidding phase on a variety of schemes. Most of the projects will be within the Water & Energy Sector, but you will also have the opportunity to work on projects within the Rail and Highways sectors.
With your extensive experience of using P6, you will be constructing competitive bids from scratch and building the Construction programme for presentation to the client. This will include sourcing information from the Operational teams and using your technical knowledge to assess buildability into realistic and efficient plans. Upon project award, you will then support the delivery of the Plan from the Construction Phase of the programme through to completion.
Remuneration and benefits:
An impressive package is available consisting of a basic salary of up to £75,000, plus company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working, Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Life insurance, support and funding of chartership.
About You:
You could be a Planner after progressing your career on site, you could be a Site Agent keen to move into Planning, or you could be a Planner with a strong understanding of buildability. Either way, this would be the ideal opportunity to be involved with projects from the very start. You'll be able to provide that onsite knowledge of buildability, of what works and what doesn't, before the project is even awarded!
P6 Primavera experience required. Civil engineering project experience is essential.
