Ganymede Energy has partnered with the UK's largest and most successful Solar PV installation company, powered by a market leading energy supplier, to recruit an experienced Solar PV Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity to contract long-term for a growing renewable energy business and play a key role in delivering high-quality Solar PV installations across new-build housing developments.
The Role:
As a Solar PV Electrician, you'll be responsible for the second fix electrical installation, testing and commissioning of Solar PV systems.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Carry out second fix installation, testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems
- Installing and wiring inverters and associated electrical equipment.
- Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.
- Completing installation paperwork and providing clear handover information.
The Package:
- Price Per Job: £300 - £500 per day
The Ideal Candidate:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or an equivalent qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Solar PV Certification
- ECS Card
- Competant Person Scheme - NICEIC, NAPIT etc.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
