Project Planner - Engineering / Project Controls Location: Swadlincote / Hybrid Rate: £400-£450 per day IR35: Outside IR35 Contract: 6-12 months Working: Office, site and home working We are recruiting for an experienced Project Planner to join an established engineering business in Swadlincote. This is a hands-on project controls role where you will be closely involved in how engineering projects are actually delivered. You will work alongside Project Managers, site teams and commercial colleagues to ensure projects are properly planned, controlled and delivered on time. You will be involved from the early stages of projects through design, procurement and installation, through to commissioning, testing and handover . The Role Developing and maintaining project programmes. Managing sequencing, dependencies, key dates and access requirements. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams. Monitoring progress, labour, materials and resources. Visiting sites to understand progress and challenge delivery where required. Identifying risks, delays and missed activities. Maintaining contractual evidence and project records. Linking programme performance to commercial entitlement. Supporting NEC3/NEC4 processes including early warnings and programme requirements.
