The Role and About You
As a Night Shift Train Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring trains are presented to the highest standards before passenger service begins. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning duties across the station and trains, including vacuuming, mopping, sanitising high-touch areas, carrying out deep cleans of train interiors, and maintaining toilet facilities to a high standard.
This is a physically active role where attention to detail, reliability, and pride in your work are essential. You will see the direct impact of your efforts each shift, helping to provide passengers with a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
We are looking for candidates who are hardworking, motivated, and take pride in delivering high standards. Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, industrial, or transport environments is beneficial but not essential, as full training and PPE will be provided.
The role operates on a night shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, working 20:00pm-06:00am, including rostered weekend shifts. There are also opportunities for overtime and career development within the team.
