The role:
- Repairing and maintaining train interiors, from panel and paint repairs to seat covers, glazing, window films, armrests, tabletops, and toilet fittings.
- Ensuring tools and equipment are prepared, maintained, and safe to use, reporting any issues quickly to keep productivity high.
- Managing materials and parts effectively, keeping track of stock and flagging shortages.
- Keeping accurate records of your work, whether on paper or electronically, so the maintenance story of each train is crystal clear.
- Working closely with your team, sharing ideas and communicating effectively to get the job done right, first time.
- Adapting to challenges, whether that’s a sudden fault, a schedule change, or an unexpected issue, and solving it with professionalism.
- Putting safety first at every step, spotting hazards and ensuring a safe environment for you, your team, and future passengers.

- The ability to pass a rail-standard medical and Drug & Alcohol test (essential for safety in the industry).
