Are you a Gas Engineer with CCN1 & MET1, looking for a rewarding contract, with a great work life balance and a new training opportunity? Ganymede have partnered with Cadent to provide Emergency Response Gas Escape Engineers. As part of the role, you will be provided with full training including putting you through your CODNESP1 (Gas escape qualification) & direct training with Cadent Gas along with mentoring before going out live as an emergency response gas engineer across the Essex area.
About the role:
Working for Ganymede Energy, you will be the first on the scene at customers' homes, which makes you the face of our brand for people who are worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide activated alarms.
The Package:
- Basic salary equivalent to a minimum of £41,500 p/a
- Working 40 hours per week on a rota pattern (24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days of the year)
- Minimum hourly rate: £19.95
- Ganymede Bonus of £2,000 - Paid at the end of the contract.
- Van, Fuel Card, PPE, Tools, Equipment and Hand-Held Unit all provided.
- You will be provided with all necessary tooling & work equipment.
- 23 days holiday per year + 8 bank holidays

About you:
You must have experience working within the gas industry, including good knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging and the commissioning of pipework, installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters and an understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety. We're looking for excellent communication skills, the ability to keep calm under pressure, a full UK driving licence and excellent pipework skills.
