Project Overview
Join a Tier 1 Principal Contractor on a prestigious fire alarm upgrade project. This involves the strip-out of the existing fire alarm system and the installation of a brand-new system at a hospital. You will be part of a high-profile team delivering critical infrastructure improvements in a live healthcare environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Install and maintain power networks for the new fire alarm system.
- Provide mains supplies to fire alarm panels and associated equipment.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and project specifications.
- Work collaboratively with a specialist fire alarm sub-contractor responsible for system installation and commissioning.
- Adhere to strict health & safety protocols in a live hospital setting.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- DBS Check (Enhanced preferred)
- Asbestos Awareness Certification
- Gold CSCS/ECS Card
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (e.g., 2357 / 2356 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in electrical installation on large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of hospital or healthcare site protocols (desirable)
