The Role
As a Lead Senior Highways Engineer, you’ll take responsibility for delivering highways design projects while acting as a technical lead within the team.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading the design and delivery of highways and transportation projects.
- Managing multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating technical outputs.
- Producing and reviewing highway designs, calculations and technical reports.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
- Supporting business development activities, bid preparation and framework opportunities.
- Managing project risks while ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and CDM requirements.
