The Opportunity
You’ll be a key member of a specialist Flooding and Water Management team, leading the delivery of flood risk and water infrastructure projects for a diverse range of public sector and infrastructure clients. This role offers variety, technical challenge and the opportunity to influence projects that improve flood resilience, sustainability and quality of life across the UK. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams, support the development of junior engineers and play a visible role in project delivery and client engagement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the development and delivery of flood management and water engineering designs.
- Producing and reviewing feasibility studies, appraisal reports and technical assessments.
- Developing innovative engineering solutions and presenting options to clients and stakeholders.
- Preparing and checking design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Managing project programmes, resources and budgets.
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Supporting bid submissions and business development activities.
- Undertaking site inspections, surveys and contractor supervision when required.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers within the team.
