Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversee the management of the project commercial team
- Achieve project margins and maintain a positive cash profile
- Provide accurate, transparent and on-time reporting
- Identify and recommend appropriate commercial strategy, awareness and delivery of opportunity, including variations and entitlements
- Ensure timely procurement and management of the supply chain (subcontractors/suppliers/consultant services)
- Oversee the management of contract and tender documentation
- Process final account settlements
- Involve in risk management and control
- Ensure timely financial reporting, forecast and highlight key project financial risk
- Maintain and foster good relationship with clients, consultants and partners
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Science
- At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role in the construction industry
- Familiar with contract/construction law, including tender requirements, contract conditions, methods of contracting, value contract works and claims experience
- Candidates with M&E experience will have added advantage
- Meticulous, strong in numeracy and contract & commercial acumen
- Excellent team spirit, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
- Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
