Who are we looking for?
Someone who can provide technical implementation of various systems which reside in the BSS/OSS space. Build responsibility and understanding of technical requirements such as capacity, security, maintainability, and other non-functional aspects.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
- Collaborating on technical design and architectural decisions for new and existing systems
- Writing clean, efficient, and scalable Java code
- Conducting and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge
- Creating and maintaining automated tests to ensure functionality and reduce regressions
- Working with CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy software quickly and reliably
- Taking part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
- Implementing and integrating with a variety of internal and third-party systems as required
What you’ll need:
- Experience of Java (Java 8 minimum)
- Experience of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience of SQL
- Experience of RESTful API design
- Experience using version control (ideally Git)
- Experience working in an Agile methodology
- Familiarity with CI/CD and related tooling
- Experience of test automation tooling (such as JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium)
- Experience with Jira or a similar work tracking tool
