What is the role responsible for?
We’re looking for a driven and commercially focused CCaaS (Contact Centre as a Service) Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of Gamma’s customer experience and contact centre portfolio across the UK market. This role will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities through our channel partners and direct customer engagements, positioning Gamma as a trusted advisor in the customer experience space. You’ll work closely with internal sales teams, partners, vendors, and technical specialists to identify opportunities, develop winning propositions, and support customers in transforming their contact centre environments. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with deep knowledge of CCaaS technologies and customer engagement solutions, helping organisations modernise customer interactions while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Driving sales growth and revenue generation for Gamma's CCaaS portfolio across new and existing customers.
- Developing and executing business development strategies to increase market share and pipeline opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, strategic customers, and key stakeholders.
- Identifying customer challenges and aligning Gamma's customer experience solutions to deliver business value.
- Supporting the wider sales community with CCaaS expertise, solution positioning, and competitive differentiation.
- Delivering customer presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals.
- Working collaboratively with marketing teams on campaigns, events, webinars, and lead generation initiatives.
- Managing opportunities through the sales cycle, from qualification through to contract signature.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies within the CCaaS and CX space.
- Collaborating with vendor and technology partners to maximise joint opportunities and drive growth.
- Providing accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting through CRM systems.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales Specialist, or Account Management role within the telecommunications, UCaaS, CX, or CCaaS sector.
- Strong knowledge of Contact Centre as a Service platforms and customer experience technologies.
- Experience selling through indirect channels, partners, or managed service providers would be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong consultative sales and relationship management skills.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders from operational managers through to C-suite decision makers.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and opportunity management capabilities.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and networking skills.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into compelling business benefits.
Desirable:
- Experience with leading CCaaS platforms such as Genesys, Five9, NICE, Talkdesk, Content Guru, Amazon Connect, or similar.
- Understanding of UCaaS, Microsoft Teams telephony, and wider customer engagement ecosystems.
- Knowledge of cloud communications and digital transformation programmes.
