What is the role responsible for? We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Insights Analyst to join Gamma’s Business Insights and Reporting team in London. This is a highly visible role focused on turning complex data into actionable business insight, helping senior stakeholders make informed decisions across sales, product, operations and commercial functions. The role progresses into a Business Partner function where you will become the key point of contact for data and insight needs within a department. You will sit in meetings with senior leaders within that function and endeavour to truly understand and support the aims of the team.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Conduct ad-hoc and project-based analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Extract, transform and interrogate data from multiple on-prem and cloud sources using SSMS SQL, Snowflake and Python, ensuring accuracy and consistency of insight.
  • Analyse business performance across revenue, margin, product adoption, sales volumes and operational metrics to provide actionable insights.
  • Build and deliver meaningful dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI to support decision-making across the business.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leaders and ExCo, translating data into clear business stories.

What you’ll bring: You don’t need experience in everything listed—but we’re especially keen to hear from people with some of the following skills:

  • Proven experience in an Analyst, Data Analyst, Insight Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar role, with at least 2 years' relevant experience.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large or complex datasets.
  • Experience creating dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or a similar BI platform.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to understand business objectives and translate data into stories and practical recommendations.
  • Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels and present complex findings in a clear, concise way.
  • Self-motivated and curious, with the ability to work independently, challenge assumptions and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

What do we offer you?

  • 25 days annual leave + birthday
  • Subsidised private medical insurance
  • 5.1% matched pension contributions
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Life assurance and Income protection
  • Share save and incentive plans
  • Electric Vehicle and Cycle scheme
  • Employee discounts
  • Volunteer day

A few things to note: We require all candidates to be eligible to work in the UK and pass a basic DBS check. If you don’t meet every requirement but feel you could thrive in this role, we would still encourage you to apply.
