What will you be doing day-to-day?
- Own and manage the full lifecycle of service delivery.
- Ensure all service changes are executed accurately, on time, and in compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the transformation of delivery operations.
- Champion the use of automation, system integrations, and AI to optimise processes.
- Proactively identify and manage risks to service delivery timelines and quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and monitor performance.
- Operational interface between multiple teams.
- Support pre-sales and solution design teams with delivery feasibility and timelines.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, development, and excellence.
- Mentor and coach team members to build capability and resilience across the function.
- Monitor delivery costs, resource utilisation, and margin performance across projects.
- Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams to forecast delivery capacity and revenue impact.
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience in a senior delivery or operations leadership role within a telecoms or managed network services environment.
- Demonstrated success in transforming business operations and leading large-scale change initiatives.
- Strong understanding of provisioning and lifecycle management for services such as broadband, Ethernet, SD-WAN, UCaaS, and CCaaS.
- Experience applying automation, AI, and system integrations to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Commercially and financially aware, with experience managing budgets, margins, and revenue delivery.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners in a performance-driven environment.
- Familiarity with telecoms OSS/BSS platforms, CRM systems, and service orchestration tools.
- ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience.
- Experience with automation and workflow tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and people leadership capabilities.
