Who are we looking for?

We’re hiring a Feasibility Product Owner & Manager (POM) to help determine what gets built, and what doesn’t, across Gamma's portfolio. You’ll be a gatekeeper between idea and investment, shaping which initiatives move forward by rigorously assessing commercial viability, technical soundness, and operational deliverability before Delivery Domain resources are committed.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape the Opportunity Backlog: Evaluate and refine proposals across SIP trunking, UCaaS, Inbound, international numbering, Voice Enablement, Connectivity, value-added services (call recording, fraud prevention, analytics), and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Own the Feasibility Process: Assess commercial potential, regulatory constraints, feasibility (SBCs, interconnects, provisioning, porting), operational readiness, and downstream support impact, before presenting clear recommendations.
  • Influence Portfolio Direction: Map viable initiatives into broader transformation programmes, challenge weak proposals, and ensure strategic coherence with platform modernisation, automation, and service improvement efforts.
  • Drive Investment Confidence: Sharpen what enters the Delivery Domain roadmaps, reduce delivery risk, clarify CapEx / OpEx trade-offs, and equip stakeholders with the evidence needed to commit with conviction!

What You’ll Bring

  • Telecoms Expertise: Deep sector experience is essential. You’ll understand things like call routing, numbering, porting compliance, commercial agreements, connectivity options, security solutions and service assurance, enabling you to separate viable opportunities from technical or regulatory dead-ends.
  • Have a POM mindset: You don’t just assess, you shape, challenge, and steer. You move ideas and initiatives from speculation to decision, helping to ensure every roadmap commitment has a credible path to customer value, operational scalability, and measurable return.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Build, own, and maintain a Product Backlog that is both visible and transparent, using appropriate tooling such as Jira. Ownership of the 1-n product backlog – working with other POMs, Senior POMs, Lead POM & Delivery & Design Director to build aligned, ranked cross portfolio backlog.
  • Working with key stakeholders, define end-to-end user story maps and customer journey maps and identify future development needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute Product roadmaps to provide clarity on value outcomes of all planned work over a 12-month period.
  • Working with end users, Technologist and Channel and Sales teams, embed a culture of Product Discovery & Validation, while taking risks associated with value, viability, usability and feasibility into consideration.
  • Own and communicate our Delivery commitments, ensuring dependencies on all delivery teams are understood and aligned. Review and assess the impact of proposed changes and, working with colleagues, help facilitate documented assessments of viable options so that solutions can be agreed upon and defined.
  • Be a central point of reference for all changes related to the product, communicating clearly how changes can impact one another.

What You’ll Need

  • We actively encourage applicants with proven, hands-on IoT experience or mobile, as this expertise will be critical in driving adoption, unlocking new use cases, and ensuring our IoT offering delivers measurable business value.
  • Experience developing a deep understanding of customer needs and translating them into clear requirements.
  • Able to combine technical competence with business and commercial awareness and excellent communications skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience in developing and prioritising product backlogs.
  • Proficiency in analysing data, forming theories, and developing action plans.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence to challenge others in an appropriate way.
  • Ability and capacity to manage a demanding workload, handle conflicting priorities and a proven success rate of delivering high quality products, quickly and at scale.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in using tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Trello, Lucid and Microsoft 365 suite.
  • An understanding of various agile artifacts and ceremonies, and how to effectively work with engineering teams within these frameworks.

What do we offer you?

  • At Gamma, we believe in work-life balance, which is why we offer 25 days of annual leave, plus an extra day off for your birthday. Giving back is important to us, so we also provide a volunteer day to support a charity that matters to you.
  • Family matters, too. With enhanced maternity and paternity pay, we’re here to support you as a parent and help you thrive in your career.
  • We offer a contributory pension plan to help you save for the years ahead, with Gamma’s contribution varying dependant on yours.
  • Your well-being is our priority. We offer group income protection and life assurance (four times your salary) to ensure peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
  • We want you to share in our success. That’s why we offer tax-efficient share save and share incentive plans, giving you the opportunity to benefit from Gamma’s growth.
  • We’re committed to health, both physical and mental, and provide private medical insurance through Vitality, which extends to your immediate family.
