What will you be doing day-to-day?
In this role, you will lead & co-ordinate successful Agile iterations delivering transformational change across the Enterprise Markets Business Unit. You will be responsible for both instilling & driving maturity of Agile best practice across the business. The Agile Delivery Lead acts as a key figure guiding cross-functional teams to deliver projects iteratively & incrementally while maintaining focus on efficiency, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Facilitating Agile Practices - Ensuring the team follow Agile principles (such as Scrum, Kanban or other frameworks) by facilitating ceremonies like stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives across multiple teams.
- Utilise Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence) to manage sprint backlogs, workflows, and reporting; ensuring data integrity and meaningful metrics are tracked and promoted.
- Aligning with Business Goals - Remaining outcome focused, ensuring the team’s efforts align with our strategic objectives and priorities.
- Ensuring Delivery - Working with product owners, stakeholders and the team to ensure the product is delivered on time, within scope and meeting quality expectations.
- Removing Roadblocks - Identify and address impediments or challenges that hinder team progress / productivity, ensuring smooth delivery of value.
- Coaching and Mentoring - Guiding teams in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Engagement with all stakeholders to improve Agile understanding and practices to support the adoption and scaling of Agile methodologies / working practices across the business.
- Monitoring Progress - Develop and maintain Agile dashboards and reports to track progress, velocity, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Effective Planning - Support portfolio-level planning and coordination, including contributing to Quarterly Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
- Operational Development - Contextually assess, propose and implement plans to adopt Agile best practice. Hold regular assessments to review/drive effectiveness & develop our maturity, working closely with the Product Owner and the team to realise these improvements.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead in Agile environments with evidence delivering transformational change.
- Deep understanding of how to apply Agile methodologies, frameworks & practices, in particular Scrum.
- Experience in Agile coaching and driving Agile adoption across teams.
- Strong proficiency in Jira, including configurations, workflows, and reporting is essential.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and adapt to changing priorities.
