What is the role responsible for?

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, engaging and onboarding high-quality channel partners to Gamma.

The primary objective of the role is to generate a consistent flow of commercially viable new partners that contribute to Gamma's long-term channel growth strategy and achieve revenue in the shortest possible timeframe.

Working closely with SDRs, Marketing, Commercial, Onboarding and Sales Enablement teams, the Partner Acquisition Executive will manage the entire acquisition journey from initial engagement through to signed agreement and successful transition into onboarding.

The role requires a proactive and commercially minded individual who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities and delivering measurable sales outcomes.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Identify and engage prospective channel partners across target market segments.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand partner strategy, growth plans and market position.
  • Present Gamma's products, services, propositions and partner programmes.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding handover.
  • Deliver against monthly, quarterly and annual acquisition objectives.
  • Build trusted relationships with business owners, directors and key decision makers.
  • Represent Gamma at partner events, exhibitions, networking activities and industry functions.
  • Work with internal teams on credit applications and commercial approval processes.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from signed agreement into onboarding.
  • What you’ll bring

You don’t need experience in everything listed—but we’re especially keen to hear from people with some of the following skills:

  • Experience within business development, new business sales, channel sales, direct sales or account management within Telecommunications or IT sector.
  • Experience working with resellers, MSPs or technology partners.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline management discipline.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Experience selling Telecoms or IT products and services
  • Understanding of the indirect sales channel.
  • Experience recruiting and onboarding channel partners
