We are looking for a Data Entry Operator I to support the GLI team in Bangor.

What You Will Accomplish Here

  • The Data Entry Operator works within the Quality Assurance (QA) Department and is responsible for entering and editing complex information from a variety of internal and external sources.
  • The QA Department focuses on letter writing, data entry, and translations for certification reports.
  • Maintains knowledge of GLI products/services, database procedures, and certification letter folders.
  • Updates jurisdictional information in the database against certifications in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Creates projects in the Submissions Database from requests received from a variety of sources, such as emails, FTP downloads, etc.
  • Operates peripheral equipment and runs verification programs to obtain a diverse collection of software signatures.
  • Processes draft and secondary portal reports, closing out files for withdrawal.
  • Researches daily database queries, correcting any errors or discrepancies.
  • Assists in troubleshooting database related issues by utilizing various GLI resources.
  • Maintains a daily log of submittal/non‑submittal mail received.
  • Archives and retrieves media and hardware, as requested.
  • Answers internal database related questions, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team.
  • Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
