Data & Commercial Analytics Manager

Full-Time On-site
GameTime Digital

Location: UK / Hybrid / Remote
Department: Commercial / Affiliate
Reports to: CEO & CMO

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical, commercially minded Affiliate Data & Commercial Analytics Manager to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role focused on making sure we are getting paid correctly, tracking the right data, operating on the right commercial deals and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing affiliate accounts across our portfolio, checking player and revenue data, identifying discrepancies and investigating anything that doesn’t look right.
You won’t just be reporting what happened. We want you to find out why it happened, identify what we’re missing and tell the commercial team what we should do about it.

Key Responsibilities

Affiliate Account Management & Data Accuracy

 • Regularly audit affiliate accounts, networks and operator accounts to ensure data is accurate and complete.
 • Check player numbers, deposits, revenue, commissions, CPA and other key commercial metrics.
 • Reconcile data between affiliate platforms, operator reports, internal systems and finance records.
 • Identify missing, inconsistent or unusual data and investigate the reasons behind it.
 • Ensure all affiliate accounts are correctly configured and tracking as expected.
 • Monitor new operators and affiliate relationships to ensure reporting is set up correctly from day one.

Revenue Leakage & Discrepancy Detection

A major part of the role will be identifying money that we should be earning but aren’t.

You will:

 • Look for missing players and registrations.
 • Identify discrepancies between clicks, registrations, FTDs and reported players.
 • Investigate potential shaving or under-reporting.
 • Identify unusual changes in conversion rates, player values or revenue.
 • Compare operator/network reporting against our own data.
 • Flag accounts where reported performance doesn’t appear consistent with historical trends.
 • Investigate missing commissions, incorrect CPA payments or revenue-share calculations.
 • Ensure players are being attributed to the correct source and commercial deal.
 • Escalate issues to affiliate managers, networks and operators when required.

Commercial Deal Checking

You’ll be responsible for making sure we are actually operating on the best and agreed commercial terms.

This includes:

 • Checking that the correct CPA, revenue share or hybrid deal is being applied.
 • Comparing live deals against contracts and agreed commercial terms.
 • Identifying accounts where the wrong deal has been applied.
 • Monitoring deal changes and ensuring they are reflected correctly in reporting.
 • Identifying opportunities to renegotiate commercial terms.
 • Highlighting operators where performance suggests we could secure a better deal.
 • Making sure bonuses, uplifts, minimum guarantees and other commercial arrangements are being correctly accounted for.

Data Analysis & Reporting

 • Produce regular affiliate performance reports and dashboards.
 • Analyse revenue, player acquisition, conversion rates, player value and profitability.
 • Identify trends, anomalies and changes in performance.
 • Compare performance across operators, brands, markets, traffic sources and time periods.
 • Develop reporting that gives the commercial team a clear understanding of what is driving revenue.
 • Turn large amounts of data into clear, actionable insights.
 • Provide regular updates on issues, opportunities and potential revenue leakage.

Finding Quick Wins

This is an important part of the role. We want someone who is constantly asking: “Where are we leaving money on the table?”

You will be expected to identify quick wins such as:

 • Missing players that need to be claimed.
 • Incorrect CPA or revenue-share deals.
 • Operators where a commercial renegotiation could increase revenue.
 • Underperforming traffic that can be improved.
 • High-value players or sources that deserve greater focus.
 • Tracking issues that are preventing us from being paid.
 • Operators where traffic is performing significantly better than reported.
 • Accounts where a small change could produce a meaningful increase in revenue.
 • Opportunities to improve the way we track, report and monetise traffic.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with data, naturally suspicious of numbers that don’t make sense and commercially motivated.

You should be comfortable digging into spreadsheets and datasets, spotting patterns and asking difficult questions.

Essential

 • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
 • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
 • Experience working with large datasets.
 • Excellent attention to detail.
 • Strong understanding of data reconciliation.
 • Ability to identify anomalies and investigate discrepancies.
 • Commercial mindset and understanding of revenue.
 • Ability to work independently and take ownership.
 • Excellent communication skills.
 • Comfortable challenging data and asking “why?”

Ideally

Experience in one or more of:

 • iGaming / gambling
 • Affiliate marketing
 • Performance marketing
 • Affiliate networks
 • Online media
 • Revenue operations
 • Commercial analytics
 • Finance / reconciliation
 • Business intelligence
 • Data analysis

Experience with SQL, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics tools would also be advantageous.

The Person

This role would suit someone who enjoys finding problems that other people haven’t noticed. You might be an experienced affiliate account analyst, commercial analyst, revenue analyst or data analyst looking for more responsibility.

Or you might already work in iGaming and have developed a strong understanding of affiliate reporting and player data.

The key thing is that you’re not someone who simply produces a report and sends it over.

You see an operator reporting fewer players than expected and investigate it.

You notice a CPA has changed and check whether it was actually agreed.

You spot an account performing unusually well and ask whether we should be pushing more traffic there. You find the opportunity.

What You’ll Get

 • A key role within a rapidly growing iGaming affiliate business.
 • Significant ownership and responsibility.
 • The opportunity to directly influence revenue.
 • Exposure to some of the biggest operators and affiliate networks in the industry.
 • A commercially focused environment where your analysis directly leads to action.
 • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
 • Flexible working with UK remote / hybrid options.
 • Opportunity to progress into a senior commercial, data or revenue operations role.

The Goal

The goal of this role is simple:
Make sure we are getting paid for everything we generate, make sure we’re on the right commercial deals, and continually find opportunities to increase revenue.
If you’re someone who loves numbers, spots things other people miss and gets satisfaction from finding lost revenue and quick wins, we’d like to hear from you.
