Bally’s Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It currently owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. It also owns Bally’s Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, online gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.
With 10,600 employees, the Company’s casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, Bally’s will own and/or manage 15 casinos across 10 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Well, what about the team?
The Vice President of Marketing Services will play a critical leadership role in overseeing a globally distributed team of brand and design Leaders. This hands-on position requires a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and consumer behaviours as the VP will work to integrate the ‘voice of the customer’ into the development of future brand strategies. In addition to leading the day-to-day execution of brand and design initiatives, the VP of Marketing Services will be instrumental in shaping the broader vision for marketing across the organisation.
As part of our global Commercial and Marketing Leadership team, the VP will work in close partnership with the CCO and the Market Team VPs to define and execute global commercial and marketing strategies. This collaboration will involve identifying key market opportunities, setting strategic priorities, and implementing initiatives that align with the company’s long-term goals and global growth objectives.
So, what will you be doing?
- Building a strong, effective network throughout Bally’s to bring greater alignment to the organisation .
- Managing a team of Leaders that represent each of the areas within Global Marketing Services .
- Taking responsibility for decisions and being accountable for their success.
- Developing a team of pragmatic thinkers who are willing and empowered to make decisions.
- Delegating responsibility within the team so you remain strategic and in a place that you’re working ‘on’ the Global Marketing Services business .
- Setting high standards of the managers in the team with clear accountability in their roles and activities.
- Developing managers to make decisions that benefit the company and not just the team’s results .
- Role modelling great leadership practices aligned to Company policies and practices. Setting vision and direction, motivating the team and establishing the right standards and principles for delivery and engagement.
- Setting the vision for the services within the team and stay tuned in to the disciplines to evolve as required.
- Knowing what ‘good looks like’ in the market and outside of industry.
- Ensuring our team is built and managed to be scalable and adaptable to the business needs globally and across our markets .
- Establishing, maintaining, and evolving an agency-model that measures internal throughput and external output to ensure operational efficiency.
- Managing the budget and reporting on key metrics such as capacity, utilisation and cost-effectiveness of the team, and using this to drive decision-making.
- Ensuring we have roles and people to deliver the needs of the business and remain adaptable to change. Avoiding being too rigid in structure or approach .
- Championing modern approaches that push the business forward.
- Championing a service-oriented culture, with problem-solving and delivering commercial success at the heart of the team.
- Fostering a winning culture that celebrates high-performance & challenges BAU .
And what are we looking for?
Experience Requirements:
- Possess a demonstrable track record of delivering a number of the services offered by the Global Marketing Services team.
- Possess a background in Marketing/Design/Digital Agency with a customer first mindset.
- Have an understanding of latest industry, professional trends, and technology to implement best practice .
- Have expertise in defining and evolving brands .
- Possess extensive knowledge of different facets of digital marketing, including SEO, content marketing, PPC, advertising, social media marketing, and other marketing channels.
- Have experience of delivering transformational change in an organisation .
- Possess experience leading a senior team and driving performance.
- Have experience with stakeholder management at a senior level .
Person Requirements:
- Possess strong analytical skills, especially when it comes to making sense of large amount of marketing and customer data.
- Have strong resilience and the ability to handle problems and barriers in order to meet objectives and achieve transformation.
- Be passionate about gaming .
- Be a strategic thinker and planner, with the willingness to take ownership.
- Be process and value driven .
- Have a flexible, adaptable, able to think creatively as plans evolve and events unfold .
