We've spent over a decade building something people genuinely love - Tripadvisor top-rated, multi award-winning, and expanding across multiple cities. Now we need someone who loves it just as much and can't stop talking about it. Preferably to people with a corporate budget and a team that needs bonding.
The role
This is a people-first commercial role. You'll be out in the world representing two brilliant brands (we're humble too) - meeting businesses, building genuine relationships, and finding the right opportunities for the right people. You'll work across multiple sites and cities, which means no two weeks look the same. A heads up: events don't politely schedule themselves for a Wednesday at 2pm. Evenings happen. Last-minute things happen. If you find that exciting rather than exhausting, you're already speaking our language.
What you'll be doing
- Getting out there and meeting people - HR teams, office managers, event agencies, corporate decision-makers, and everyone in between
- Building and managing a pipeline of leads for team-building events, private hires, company socials, Christmas parties, summer parties, and away days
- Attending and hosting networking events across multiple cities as a face of both brands - not a delegate quietly eating the free canapés (although we do promote the canapé eating by the boat load)
- Using LinkedIn like someone who actually means it - opening real conversations, building real relationships, turning connections into opportunities
- Developing referral partnerships with hotels, venues, agencies, and local businesses
- Getting to know your clients properly - understanding what they need, and making sure they come back
- Tracking all outreach, leads, and outcomes in CRM and reporting weekly
Who we're looking for
- Someone who genuinely likes people - in a room, on a call, over email, on LinkedIn
- Warm, confident, and commercially aware without being the person everyone tries to avoid at networking events
- Someone who listens as well as they talk - and knows that the best bookings come from actually understanding what someone needs
- Organised and consistent at following up - not because someone chased you, just because that's who you are
- Motivated by the idea that the more genuine relationships you build, the more success follows
Useful background
Maybe you've worked in hospitality, events, or venues. Maybe you've been the person at a company who just naturally ended up doing all the client stuff. Either way - can you walk into a room, make friends, and leave with a booking? That's the job.
What we offer
- Base salary + commission - the better you do, the more you earn
- A fast-growing, multi-city business with genuine scope to develop
- Two seriously credible brands and a team that knows how to have a good time (occupational hazard)
