Games Workshop have an exciting opportunity to join our Warhammer Studio in our Miniatures, Book & Boxed Games team as we see continued growth towards a customer focused, agile software engineering team working on modern architectures and technologies.

The role involves working as a Mid-Level iOS Developer on new and existing mobile apps that support our Warhammer hobby. These apps enable our customers to build armies, lookup rules or redeem additional digital content. You will be involved with developing apps that help customers engage with our products such as painting our miniatures, playing our games and Warhammer+ content.

Articulate and a keen problem solver, you’ll efficiently deliver quality solutions based on business requirements, including working in an Agile format with Scrum, Sprint, Product, and other delivery functions. You will work alongside other developers and test analysts to develop robust testing processes which facilitate rapid delivery of high quality software, upholding and raising the quality of team output through code reviews and feedback. You will identify technical debt and areas of process improvement to ensure you deliver value to Games Workshop.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in developing iOS applications with a strong understanding of Agile delivery methods, Unit Testing, SwiftUI, Observable paradigms & SQLite persistence. The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!

Location: This role is home based, with occasional visits to our UK head office in Lenton, Nottingham.
