We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Planner to join our busy, friendly planning team, based at our East Midlands Gateway Distribution Centre.
In this interesting, challenging role, you will be responsible for planning and measuring warehouse capacity requirements over the next 12 months to ensure that we have sufficient capacity to meet both internal and external delivery demands. This requires the ability to review data and spot trends consistently. You will produce high-quality information to steer logistics decisions at all levels.
You will support the team manager with a 10 year capacity plan and collaborate with logistics senior management, presenting detailed data on operational plans. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve the best outcome are essential in this busy role. You must be highly organised, efficient, and determined to get the job done right, down to the very last detail.
You will also work closely with merchandising, demand planning, and forecasters on excess stock levels across our logistics distribution centres, as well as reviewing and measuring inbound workload and consulting with production and buying to help smooth out deliveries in peak weeks.
Experience within a logistics team, knowledge of warehouse management systems, and demonstrable experience of working with these in a logistics setting is a distinct advantage. Advanced Excel knowledge is essential.
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let's not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
Closing date for applications is midnight, UK time, Sunday 1st March 2026.
To apply, please send us a letter or a video telling us why you want this job. This is a great opportunity for you to let us know that you understand what we are looking for. Please include an up-to-date CV to support your application.
