About The Job We have fantastic opportunities to join the busy, friendly team in our Bugman’s Bar. Located at Warhammer World in Lenton, Nottingham, and named in honour of legendary brew-master, Josef Bugman, Bugman’s Bar offers visitors filling meals, coffee and cake, refreshing beers and soft drinks. Our Bar Staff support Bugman’s Bar and restaurant by delivering exceptional customer service, to every customer, every time. With commitment to upholding exceptional standards of quality, you will engage with a wide variety of customers at pace, understanding what is important to them, and keeping a smile on your face.
As well as serving food and drink, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Service standards, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, and assisting with the smooth running of the bar. This can be a busy role, so we are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment where quick action is essential.
We are looking for people who will be willing to take ownership of their decisions and actions. You will receive full training and the support of a fantastic, friendly team.
Bar or retail experience gained within a busy, customer facing environment is required for these fast-paced roles.
Working at Games Workshop
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will understand the needs of the company and put those needs first when at work. The attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave are important alongside your skills and experience. The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), a matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, a profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and the option to join our Share Save scheme. There is also a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products.
