Overview
Games Workshop has a new opportunity for an Operational Support Specialist to join our Logistics Team at our EMG distribution hub. Reporting to the Global Logistics Systems Manager, you will partner with the business to ensure the effective implementation and use of our digital logistics systems and services. Analysing and testing data will enable the successful delivery of our solutions.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyse specifications and requirements to produce detailed test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test exit reports to ensure delivery of high‑quality products.
- Understand requirements to support Logistics and IT integrations with testing major projects.
- Conduct hands‑on system testing and work with warehouse management systems; familiarity with DevOps, Inteq IWS and nShift Carrier Delivery is beneficial.
- Escalate and triage issues to vendors as needed; ensure all parties understand terminology and provide ongoing daily monitoring and support to operations to identify and eradicate issues before they slow or stop the operation.
- Communicate findings clearly and work with the team to ensure issues are resolved; provide advice and training to operatives to ensure correct processes are followed to enable the system to function as designed.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience of system testing and warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps, Inteq IWS, and nShift Carrier Delivery is advantageous.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and collaborative skills with the ability to work at pace.
Location
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
