Responsibilities
- As a Manufacturing Operations H&S Manager, you will lead a team of H&S Advisors who provide support and guidance to all Manufacturing teams and additional business teams from across the GW Lenton campus.
- You will ensure that you and your team are identifying and implementing safe systems of work that are compliant with internal and external policies and legislation.
- You will work closely and collaboratively with the Central H&S function to ensure that you and your team have complete and full understanding of all policies, governance and compliance requirements for Manufacturing and Site.
- You will support all audit requirements, ensuring that audit actions relevant to your areas of responsibility are understood.
- You and your team will work with department managers and stakeholders to ensure that those audit actions are delivered to agreed timescales and SLAs.
- You will be recognised as the senior H&S subject matter expert and the primary point of contact for the Manufacturing and Site leadership team.
- You will provide clear and competent advice at all times, ensuring appropriate escalation of risk, incidents and non-compliance when required.
- Working closely with department managers and key stakeholders, you will understand future business growth plans and advise accordingly to ensure that these plans address all necessary aspects of H&S legislation and compliance.
Qualifications
- Having previous experience of working in a H&S Management role in a Manufacturing, Logistics or Operational environment, you will have an appropriate Level 6 qualification in Operational Health and Safety (i.e. NEBOSH diploma).
- You will also have maintained professional qualifications and knowledge relevant to the role.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
