Games Workshop has a new and fantastic opportunity to join our Manufacturing Operations team as a H&S Manager. If you are a H&S professional looking for your next challenge, we invite you to read on. Our Manufacturing goal is to make the right products in the right volumes at the right time, to the agreed standard and in the most efficient and sustainable manner. And of course we want to do this whilst ensuring that our staff and operations are safe and fully compliant.

Responsibilities

  • As a Manufacturing Operations H&S Manager, you will lead a team of H&S Advisors who provide support and guidance to all Manufacturing teams and additional business teams from across the GW Lenton campus.
  • You will ensure that you and your team are identifying and implementing safe systems of work that are compliant with internal and external policies and legislation.
  • You will work closely and collaboratively with the Central H&S function to ensure that you and your team have complete and full understanding of all policies, governance and compliance requirements for Manufacturing and Site.
  • You will support all audit requirements, ensuring that audit actions relevant to your areas of responsibility are understood.
  • You and your team will work with department managers and stakeholders to ensure that those audit actions are delivered to agreed timescales and SLAs.
  • You will be recognised as the senior H&S subject matter expert and the primary point of contact for the Manufacturing and Site leadership team.
  • You will provide clear and competent advice at all times, ensuring appropriate escalation of risk, incidents and non-compliance when required.
  • Working closely with department managers and key stakeholders, you will understand future business growth plans and advise accordingly to ensure that these plans address all necessary aspects of H&S legislation and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Having previous experience of working in a H&S Management role in a Manufacturing, Logistics or Operational environment, you will have an appropriate Level 6 qualification in Operational Health and Safety (i.e. NEBOSH diploma).
  • You will also have maintained professional qualifications and knowledge relevant to the role.
  • If you are able to nurture and promote a positive H&S culture, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver change, this could well be the job for you.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
