Games Workshop is looking for a precise and thorough Copy Editor to join our Sales Support team in Nottingham. If you have an expert grasp of written English and can meticulously check and edit a wide range of sales support materials at pace without ever compromising on accuracy, then this could be the role for you.

As a Copy Editor, you'll help Games Workshop communicate with customers across Warhammer.com product descriptions, point-of-sale materials, web banners, event packs, and social media posts. Your keen attention to detail will ensure every published word meets the highest standards of English and presents Games Workshop's world-class IP clearly and accurately.

Collaborating closely with a small team of writers and editors, you'll deliver on Sales Support briefs and provide clear, constructive feedback to maintain consistency across the team's output. With your thorough approach, you'll ensure all written copy follows internal and external style guides and support the team to deliver engaging and accurate copy across multiple overlapping deadlines. Being adaptable will be key to your success, as an edit on words may be needed at a moment's notice.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in copy editing and working with style guides. Your ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines is essential. Knowledge of Games Workshop's products and universes is also beneficial.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking. In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let's not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
