As a Brand Protection and Legal Assistant, you will assist in protecting Games Workshop from risk by implementing thorough checks and ensuring intellectual property rights are recorded. You will register intellectual property rights and complete trademark name checks so that customers can continue to enjoy our products for years to come. You will develop knowledge across multiple jurisdictions as you register creative works with various intellectual property offices and support registrations for new territories.

You will need a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality in Global Trademark Clearance as you conduct high level conflict searches across multiple databases. The role requires the ability to work independently whilst adhering to established standards and procedures to deliver exceptional results every time. If you have experience working in a legal support role with knowledge of brand protection and can proactively monitor changes in IP law, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in protecting Games Workshop from risk by conducting thorough checks and recording intellectual property rights.
  • Register intellectual property rights and perform trademark name checks.
  • Conduct high level conflict searches across multiple databases to support Global Trademark Clearance.
  • Work independently while adhering to established standards and procedures to deliver consistent results.
  • Develop knowledge across multiple jurisdictions and support registrations for new territories.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Experience in a legal support role with knowledge of brand protection or IP law is preferred.
  • Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to monitor changes in IP law and stay informed of regulatory developments.
  • Ability to work independently and follow standard operating processes.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
