You will advise and support on market specific product legislation and requirements across our products, and work closely with the individual Advisors who handle our core range of Miniatures, Boxed Games and Hobby products, along with General Merchandise, Christmas, and Licensed Products.
You will need to be proactive and have great instincts about what needs to be achieved. You will monitor and interpret new regulations and regulatory trends globally and incorporate this into company requirements across our new markets. You will support the entire market entry process, from classifying prospective markets through to product certification, and embed the new market into business as usual work.
This is a varied role, and your duties will range from reviewing and monitoring regulations and legislation through to product benchmarking. You will be tenacious and thorough in ensuring relevant certifications are achieved on time. You will work closely with other specialists within the Product Safety team, as well as colleagues across the business, to ensure that the information and knowledge you have gained are translated into clear requirements for the business.
Uncompromising and diligent in your approach, we’ll rely on you to provide clarity to the business. You will also be involved in supporting the wider team when appropriate. This may be by monitoring and reviewing legislation for existing markets, or by getting involved in the evaluation and testing of samples to support your projects and the wider Games Workshop product range. Being someone who is open and progressive is key. This will help you to enhance our existing framework of processes to simplify market entry, ensuring that we reduce the risk, cost and time involved. Collaboration is key as you foster positive working relationships with a variety of internal and external teams. That means taking challenges on board readily, promptly relaying feedback in a clear, comprehensive, and courteous manner to ensure stakeholders understand what you need and to reach effective solutions.
We expect that every Warhammer product is of the highest safety standards, and in this role, you’ll ensure that’s what’s achieved. You’ll play a crucial role in helping us protect Games Workshop’s unwavering reputation.
If you’re an individual who has experience in product legislation, regulatory affairs, or a technical role in hard goods, children’s products, compliance or product testing and want to develop your knowledge across product categories and global markets, apply today:
