Games Workshop has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced commercial digital artist to join our renowned in-house Illustration team to help create the evocative and imaginative images seen throughout the Specialist Design Studio’s range of printed products.
With a deep passion and understanding of our IP, and a keen eye for detail, you will be able to quickly and accurately create digitally manipulated photographic scenic backgrounds and battle scenes that will feature within our range of The Horus Heresy printed products.
We’ll look to you to use your creative talents of photo manipulation to expand our catalogue of immersive and impactful art that chronicles the many battles that were fought over countless worlds during The Horus Heresy.
Driven and with a strong desire to succeed, you will constantly seek to improve your skills and knowledge as you work to enrich the visual look and style of the product range. Previous experience as a digital artist within a commercial studio is essential as we’ll look to you to work to a given brief and meet scheduled deadlines enthusiastically in a design team environment.

Working at Games Workshop

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
