As a copy editor in the Marketing and Digital department, you will help Games Workshop communicate with customers through newsletters, social media posts, store product descriptions, video scripts, Warhammer Community articles, and more. Your primary focus will be ensuring that every published word meets the highest standard of English.

Day-to-day you will be working with a team of writers and editors to execute marketing briefs, giving feedback to writers to maintain rigorous standards across the team’s output, upholding Games Workshop’s style guides, and helping the team deliver immaculate copy in changing situations where an edit on new words may be needed at a moment’s notice!

The successful candidate will have professional experience in copy editing and demonstrate strong prioritisation and organisation skills to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively while remaining flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Familiarity with Games Workshop’s products and universes is also required.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets), and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!

Location: This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work in the office at our Lenton site for a minimum of two days per week.
