At Games Workshop, we make the best fantasy miniatures in the world. We create products that inspire millions of hobbyists, and we do it by thinking for the long term, continually improving and never compromising on quality. We’re looking for an experienced Head of Studio Operations to help keep the Warhammer Studio performing at its very best. This is a pivotal role, working at the centre of our IP & Design teams to ensure new products are delivered on time, to the highest standards and are ready for customers across the world.
You’ll bring together programme delivery, operational planning, localisation, compliance and business performance, ensuring every part of the Warhammer Studio is moving in the same direction. You’ll spot risks before they become problems, improve the way we work and provide the clear information needed to support confident business decisions. You’ll also lead our translation and localisation teams, helping deliver outstanding products for every territory whilst protecting the integrity of the Warhammer IP.
Alongside the day-to-day operation of the Studio, you will work with staff across the product safety and legal teams to ensure compliance and regulatory obligations are met so every release meets the high standards our customers expect. You’ll also work on important business initiatives, bringing structure, pace and clarity to complex programmes that make Warhammer Studio even better.
We’re looking for someone who has successfully led large operational teams, thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys turning ambitious plans into consistent delivery. You’ll be equally comfortable working with data, improving processes, developing people and solving problems before they affect the wider business. Most importantly, you’ll care about building an operation that continually improves and supports the long term success of Warhammer.
Like everyone at Games Workshop, you’ll share our belief that quality matters more than shortcuts, that continuous improvement beats quick fixes, and that doing the right thing for the business always comes first. If you’re excited by building world‑class operations behind world‑class products, we’d love to hear from you.
Working at Games Workshop: At Games Workshop, we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking. In return for your hard work, you will receive:
- 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays)
- matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%
- profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets)
- option to join our Share Save scheme
- staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products
