Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Studio, helping us run the studio effectively and enabling our talented teams to make the best Warhammer experiences they can.

Highly organised and with a natural curiosity about how things work, you will actively build your understanding of how the studio is performing, and will establish clear measures of success as you work with your peers in the Studio leadership team to turn that understanding into action. We’ll look to you to help improve how we work, through solving problems and helping our creative teams focus on making great miniatures, books and games.

Financially astute and with an attention to detail, you will take responsibility for the studio’s cost plan and operational scheduling, making sure we spend our money wisely and understand the commercial impact of our decisions. You will help assess the commercial viability of future products and build strong relationships with our service teams to ensure the studio gets the support it needs.

Passionate about people and with a proactive approach, you will understand that our people are our biggest asset and will take an active role in making the studio stronger. You will help ensure we have the right people in the right roles, playing an active role in studio recruitment and development. You will also ensure the studio is a safe and well-run place to work, managing our operational risks and legal and health and safety responsibilities.

Most importantly, you will be passionate about making Warhammer Age of Sigmar great. You will be curious enough to ask good questions, humble enough to listen to others and determined enough to turn ideas into action. You will be comfortable with numbers and detail, but never lose sight of why the studio exists: to make the world’s best fantasy miniatures for our hobbyists. If you love Age of Sigmar, enjoy making things work better and want to help talented people do their best work, we’d love to hear from you.

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.
