We are nDreams, one of the world's leading developers / publishers focused on VR games. As our publishing team and portfolio of games continue to grow, we are looking for a Capture Specialist to create amazing and impactful marketing assets for our title campaigns. This is a technical creative role supporting our marketing video team in capturing VR gameplay footage from our first and third-party video games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing in-game video footage from in-progress or live game builds.
- Utilising gameplay capture tools and in engine cameras.
- Helping to maintain VR hardware and ensuring game build versioning is up to date.
- Assisting in guiding players during large group capture sessions.
- Communicating with game developers to problem-solve build challenges.
- Editing and versioning trailers, or other video media for various marketing platforms, such as digital stores and social media.
- Using Miro to document shoot plans and trailer concepts.
- Physically performing within VR environments to capture emotive gameplay.
Requirements:
Essential Capabilities:
- Experience capturing for and editing gameplay trailers and videos, using a mix of in-game and cinematic viewpoints.
- A good working knowledge of Premiere Pro and GeForce Experience.
- Experience capturing gameplay from PlayStation and PC platforms.
- Experience capturing from VR platforms, including Meta Quest is highly desirable.
- An understanding of cameras and capture terminology.
- Experience in a professional marketing / publishing / agency role in / around the games industry.
- An understanding how asset versioning works across various channels.
- Ability to work in engine such as Unreal or Unity would be advantageous.
An individual who is:
- Great at managing personal workflow, file naming, project structures, storage, etc.
- Highly collaborative, comfortable iterating through feedback from both commercial and creative stakeholders.
- Efficient working to deadlines, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- An effective and personable communicator across different disciplines and seniorities.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about video games and the video game industry.
