We are seeking a Senior Gamplay Animator, they should be a senior-level animator with gameplay animation experience. Have good technical ability and be able to work collaboratively with animation programmers and designers.
Requirements
They will need experience with UE5 and Motion Matching, an advanced knowledge of Maya and MotionBuilder. A keen eye for detail and the albilty to deliver dynamic realistic character animations. Have demonstrable understanding of the principles of animation.The animator will primarily work on locomotion and would be responsible for:
Processing the mocap data
Retargeting and pose match data in MotionBuilder
Editing and manipulating the data, refine the posing, timing and weight of the character performances.
Working with the animation systems, tools and processes in UE.
Taking ownership of the animation requirements, to ensure animations are delivered to desired requirements.
Working collaboratively with design, code and the wider development team.
Implementing and testing all animation requirements in-engine, along with fixing & polishing animations to the already established quality bar.
Be a team player and be open to feedback.
