Working within the SEGA WEST PUBLISHING Central Marketing team [EMEA], the role of Junior Product Manager is an essential position within the team, supporting one or more Senior Product Managers in planning, executing upon, and reporting on SEGA’s Marketing Campaigns.
The objective of the role is to support the Product Marketing team to ensure we are maximising the opportunities available for SEGA’s franchises and to assist the team in delivering best-in-class marketing campaigns. The role will involve close collaboration with various internal departments including PR, Creative Services, Paid Media, CRM, Digital & Physical Sales Teams to ensure pre-set objectives are achieved across the EMEA region, as well as liaising with external partners such as Distribution & First Parties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Senior Product Managers in planning and executing marketing campaigns across a variety of owned, earned and paid-for channels for both product launches and post-launch lifecycle acquisition/retention
Build relationships and work closely with studio brand teams to deliver both best-in-class marketing support for their franchises as well as ensuring requirements for go-to-market campaigns are met
Work with both the Physical and Digital sales teams to ensure the needs of their partners are addressed at key points in the product lifecycle
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all inter-company SEGA teams to ensure fully aligned execution of marketing strategies.
Assist with other marketing priorities, such as events, community engagement and internal presentations and other team administration work, as required
Working alongside the Senior Product Managers, be responsible for allocated product marketing budgets to ensure projects remain within their financial targets and are reported accurately for financial reporting purposes
Take ownership for specific product campaigns as and when required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Some marketing experience, with a good understanding of effective marketing campaign strategies. Games industry experience desirable, but not mandatory.
Proven interest in video games, marketing, media, and creative advertising campaigns
Proven ability to build strong working relationships with diverse teams
Adaptability and eagerness to learn and develop skills for future personal growth within a rapidly evolving industry.
Experience presenting to various groups across different levels of seniority.
