Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first person, action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. As a Junior Environment Artist, you are passionate about crafting beautiful, realistic assets that come together to build amazing worlds for our players to explore. You have an eye for scale, perspective and detail, and love to get stuck into research to ensure the accuracy of terrain and organic external environments. Being passionate about your craft, you will thrive on conducting in-depth research, and receiving and giving constructive feedback through peer review sessions to continuously improve the quality and consistency of your work. You are someone who loves to learn, and will have the opportunity to work with a strong team of Senior Artists whose mentorship will accelerate your development.

As our next Junior Environment Artist, you will play an integral part in building out the exciting world of Pandora, communicating the project's vision through tone and style inspired by the project's narrative and design.
What you will bring:
- Ability to create interesting, detailed and visually appealing environments;
- A portfolio that demonstrates a passion for worldbuilding with environment art, showing your ability to develop game-ready environments based on concept art and level design blockout;
- Knowledge of industry leading 3D modelling packages (such as 3DS Max, Maya, Blender);
- Understanding of storytelling, composition and colour theory;
- A proactive approach to learning and developing your skills.
