Job Description
As anHR Operations Specialistyou will be a vital part of the HR team, providing high quality administration and support to the business, in the UK, EU and the US. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an employee engagement focussed Human Resources Team and build on your skills within a fun and supportive environment.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, ever-changing environment and enjoys being the backbone of smooth people operations—supporting all activities in the employee lifecycle – from EU payroll and HR admin to team engagement and employee support.
HR Administration & Compliance
Own all aspects of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, evolution and development changes and associated documentation.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across all HR and company systems and personnel files.
Prepare contracts, letters and reports with a focus on effective communication and attention to detail, supporting both new hires and existing employees.
Produce HR metrics and reports to support leadership decision-making.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve HR processes and ways of working, bringing fresh ideas that streamline systems, enhance employee experience, or drive smarter collaboration.
EU Hubs Payroll & Support
Administer the global payroll provider’s platform and collaborate closely with the HRBP to ensure accurate data management, alignment on HR processes, and a seamless employee experience.
Be the main liaison between Ubisoft and the payroll provider, handling all communication, issue resolution, and ensuring service quality and compliance.
Manage day-to-day HR operations for a geographically dispersed group of team members.
Advice & Guidance
Provide first-line support to managers and employees on HR policies, leave, benefits help and general queries
Assist with employee relations queries and escalating to the HRBP escalating when needed
Support HRBPs with the performance management and probation review processes.
Maintain confidentiality and trust across all HR touchpoints.
Culture & Engagement
Working with the wider HR team, plan and deliver staff engagement activities and company events in line with key results requirements.
Coordinate onboarding experiences that introduce new hires to our culture and ways of working.
Collaborate on wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
Experience in a similar HR role or CIPD L3.
Experience of payroll and working globally.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong time management and organisation skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Confidence to use your initiative.
A hands-on attitude and willingness to assist with varied responsibilities within the HR team.

In line with Ubisoft\’s hybrid work model, our flexible work policy includes a minimum of three days per week in our Newcastle office, with the option to work from home up to two days.
