Role Overview

Game Seven is looking for a Social Strategist to help develop and execute social strategy across a portfolio of accounts.

This is a rare opportunity to work on world‑class brand partnerships — including a globally renowned football club and an F1 team — bringing social strategy to life at the intersection of sport, culture, and fandom.

This is a role for someone who thinks in ideas first, lives on the platforms, and knows what it takes to make content that actually resonates — not just content that fills a calendar.

Reporting to our Senior Strategist, you’ll contribute to always‑on content, tentpole campaigns, and reactive moments across assigned accounts.

You’ll work day‑to‑day with Creative, Accounts, and Production to bring social plans to life, and you’ll develop a fluency with our clients’ brands, audiences, and partnership ecosystems.

You’re early in building your strategic toolkit, but you bring genuine curiosity, a sharp cultural point of view, and the drive to push ideas forward.

Soft skills matter here. We want someone who is tapped in, communicates proactively, collaborates generously, and cares deeply about the quality of the work.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Ideation
  • Support the day‑to‑day development of social strategy and ideas across assigned accounts, spanning always‑on content, tentpole moments, and reactive opportunities.
  • Develop social concepts and rollout plans across platforms — Instagram, Tik Tok, X, and beyond — with a clear understanding of what works where and why.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, platform features, and cultural moments — and bring proactive ideas to the team before you’re asked.
  • Contribute to social playbooks, channel strategies, and content frameworks with clear thinking and good instincts.
  • Content & Copywriting
  • Write strong, platform‑native copy across pitches, captions, in‑asset text, and content plans.
  • Build and maintain content calendars in close collaboration with design, production, and account leads.
  • Work at the speed of social — adapting plans quickly based on real‑time feedback, platform shifts, and cultural context.
  • Deck Building & Communication
  • Build and design clear, well‑structured decks that communicate ideas effectively.
  • Participate in client‑facing meetings and presentations, supporting senior strategists in sharing and refining plans.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Creative, Accounts, and Production teams on a daily basis to ensure social plans are grounded in execution reality and carried through with consistency.
  • Collaborate with clients and their partners on a regular cadence to share updates, refine plans, and stay aligned on priorities.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in social strategy, content strategy, or a related field, at an agency, brand, media company, or platform.
  • A portfolio or body of work that demonstrates social ideas and strategic thinking, not just execution.
  • Genuine fluency in social platforms — you understand the culture of each one, not just the feature set.
  • Strong writing skills, including social copy, deck copy, and clear strategic communication.
  • Experience working within sports, music, entertainment, or culture‑adjacent accounts is a plus.
  • Comfort building and presenting in Google Slides.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration habits — proactive, organized, and easy to work with across teams.
  • Available to be in the London office a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK. No sponsorship available.
  • Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of or passion for F1, football (soccer), or global sports culture.
  • Experience with talent, creator, or influencer‑led content workstreams.
  • Bilingual English and Arabic.
