The Revenue Performance Manager plays a key role in driving sustainable revenue growth and maximising guest spend across all income streams at the Game of Thrones Studio Tour, including admissions, retail, food & beverage, memberships, group sales and special events. The role is insight-led and highly collaborative, focusing on analysing revenue performance, identifying trends and opportunities, and enabling departments to optimise pricing, promotions, capacity and secondary spend. Acting as a central point for commercial insight, the Revenue Performance Manager works closely with Finance, Retail, Front of House, Sales and Marketing to ensure data-driven decision-making that supports both revenue growth and an exceptional guest experience.
Key Objectives:
- Increase total revenue and revenue per visitor through insight-led initiatives
- Enable growth in secondary spend across retail, food & beverage and experiences
- Improve conversion rates, advance bookings and pre-visit upsell performance
- Reduce cancellation rates through improved analysis and forecasting
- Provide clear, actionable insight through reporting, dashboards and forecasts
- Create a single, trusted view of revenue performance to inform decision-making
- Identify and support new revenue opportunities across the business
- Lead the Mystery Shop Programme to identify opportunities to improve guest experience and revenue outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the annual revenue plan by providing insight, analysis and recommendations aligned to business goals
- Identify revenue growth opportunities across admissions, retail, food & beverage, events and experiences
- Work collaboratively with Sales & Marketing and Operations to inform pricing and promotional decisions through data and insight
- Support go-to-market pricing strategies and provide business cases to support 6-month and longer-term planning cycles
- Ensure pricing, products and promotions are accurately set up and maintained within the Ventrata system, with aligned reporting
- Contribute to seasonal, peak-day and dynamic pricing discussions by analysing demand, performance and guest behaviour
Commercial Insight & Performance Analysis:
- Analyse ticket pricing, discounts, bundles and promotional offers to understand effectiveness and opportunities
- Monitor booking curves, attendance patterns and visitor behaviour to identify trends and risks
- Review secondary spend performance across retail and food & beverage, identifying opportunities to drive incremental growth versus budget
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards that highlight performance, trends and opportunities
- Monitor competitor pricing and wider market trends (UK and international) and share insights with key stakeholders
- Review performance of events, campaigns and activations, presenting findings and recommendations to relevant managers
- Produce attendance vs capacity analysis to highlight opportunities to optimise yield and utilisation
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance dashboards as pre-reads for leadership and trading meetings
- Work towards alignment across reporting systems to support a single, consistent view of revenue performance
- Analyse performance across all sales channels, including online, on-site, group, schools, corporate and travel trade
- Identify opportunities to improve online conversion, pre-visit upselling and advance sales
- Support partnership and distribution initiatives through insight and performance analysis
On-Site Commercial Performance:
- Work closely with Retail, Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Sales and Marketing teams to identify opportunities to improve commercial performance
- Support the development of cross-sell and add-on strategies, including guided tours, retail, photos, VIP experiences and bundles
- Enable teams with insight, tools and recommendations that support effective upselling while protecting the guest experience
Marketing & Campaign Performance:
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaign planning, promotions and new product launches
- Track and analyse return on investment for advertising, promotions and offers
- Provide real-time performance insight to support agile decision-making and optimisation
Forecasting & Budgeting:
- Produce attendance and revenue forecasts to support operational and financial planning
- Support the revenue elements of the annual budget and 6-month review processes
- Identify revenue risks and opportunities and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
- Contribute to longer-term revenue planning and scenario modelling
- Work closely with department managers across Retail, Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Sales, Marketing and Finance
- Influence revenue outcomes through insight, analysis and clear recommendations rather than direct control
- Support the delivery of agreed growth initiatives, including upsell and cross-sell programmes
- Lead insight from Mystery Shopping and observations to inform improvement plans
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in revenue management, commercial performance, business performance or a similar role
- Experience within attractions, hospitality, tourism, leisure or retail environments
- Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
- Experience working with ticketing, POS and/or CRM systems
- Proven ability to translate insight into actionable recommendations
- Experience in data analytics and dashboard development
- Experience developing cross-sell and upsell initiatives
- Exposure to yield management or dynamic pricing
- Knowledge of travel trade and group sales
- Digital sales and e-commerce experience
